TEACH ONE MILLION CHILDREN TO PLAY & SING

PEACE LOVE & UKES

At UkeTheWorld we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve those in need through the Ukulele instrument. Our goal is to create a Uke Training Army that teaches children how to play the Ukulele through our UkeTuition. In addition to raising funds, we hope to raise public awareness about some of the more pressing issues today's society is facing; such as illicit drug taking and mental health.

At Uke The World we are passionate about spreading and sharing the love of playing Ukulele which is why donating ukulele's to Indigenous Peoples around the world is at our core. We have donated to countries such as Fiji, Timor and Australia.

Whether it's a new way of generating income for Islanders, an outlet for younger generations or finding a hidden musical talent in someone, Ukulele is the instrument of 'Peace n Love'. By buying more Ukulele’s, our dedicated #ukearmy team of volunteers can rock more lives.

OUR MISSION

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations Peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions.

We recognise that our office is located on Yuin Country.

We are privileged to gather on this Country and through this website to share knowledge, culture and art now, and with future generations.

First Nations Peoples should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have died.

OUR MISSION

To teach 1 million children to play the Ukulele & sing.

It has been scientifically proven that making your own music improves mental health, which is why we would like to ask you to join us, by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.

 #UKEARMY

The gift of making music has been passed down through song lines of Indigenous people for tens of thousands of years. We aim to teach Indigenous kids and others using Gorilla Tactics where they learn without even knowing they are learning.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Donate to help raise money for Ukulele's so our dedicated #ukearmy team of Volunteers can continue impacting the lives of others.

#UKEFEST

We are teaming up with ambassadors and organising future Music and Art Festivals in order to spread awareness of the Ukulele. By collaborating with other artists we hope to witness ukuleles being played from all over the world.

WHY THE UKE?

Thank you George Huitker for delivering 22 custom ukes from our #ukearmy to an Indigenous school for foster children.

All ukes are delivered in bags with tuners along with peace and love.

WE WILL SPREAD PEACE AND LOVE TO THE WORLD WITH UKULELE
